整体来说，本次考察的两篇作文都没有超出以往真题的难度。小作文邀请信，2013年考过，大作文选课和2013年考察的毕业生的选择有点异曲同工之妙。小作文邀请信是信件类相对容易的，邀请任何人参加任何活动都需交代事件、地点，还可包括哪些其他人参加，并介绍活动的安排或目的，相当于活动安排类写作。2013年邀请外国老师做英语演讲比赛的评委，关于颁发证书之类的词汇都学过了，所以这次的文章考生可以将自己已学知识熟练运用。

大作文的图画描述有些难度，图画本身比较简单，句式写起来没有太大问题，主要是词汇的阻碍。比如创新、给高分、易通过等，即使写出来了，可能在表达上会存在按照中式思维翻译下来的现象。创新creation,being creative，innovation, beinginnovative分别在四六级考试中考过，所以这些四六级词汇大部分考研考生能写出来。“易通过”可能会写成the course is easy topass.这就是中式思维写出的句子。在课堂上我们也讲过做某事很容易/困难/重要等，可用it is easy/ difficult/ important forsb. to dosth.这样的句式。中间段侧重给出自己的观点，并说明选择的原因。原因可以从宏观方面的社会角度和微观方面的个人发展角度出发。最后总结应该选择知识新、重创新的课程，建议措施：学生应该合理选择课程，在大学好好学习知识，而不能一味地追求过考试、取得毕业证书。
